What an amazing way to wrap up our third week of summer camp! After working hard on the court and in the AI lab, the FlashHoops crew headed out to Harbes Family Farm for an unforgettable day of outdoor fun, team building, and adventure. Our campers traded basketballs for farm passes and jumped straight into everything Harbes has to offer—from navigating the playgrounds and racing around the farm to getting up close with the animals. It was the perfect blend of fresh air, active play, and well-deserved downtime after a spectacular week of growth. To make the day even more special, the whole camp came together to celebrate Coach Myles's birthday! 🎉🎈 Happy Birthday, Coach Myles! Thank you for everything you do for our athletes. Last Friday, our young creators wrapped up an incredible second week of camp by stepping into the shoes of real-world software engineers! For Week 2, the kids formed independent development studios, brainstormed unique game concepts, and assigned professional industry roles—including Producers, Lead Architects, UI Designers, and QA Engineers. Together as a team, they coded, designed, and debugged their very own applications from scratch. We concluded the week with an amazing live presentation and interactive game show where the teams pitched their projects, explained their technical architecture, and put their creations to the test! 📺 Watch the Presentations & Play Their Games! Our campers traded the indoor courts for an unforgettable seaside adventure on our second official summer camp field trip! We split the day into two action-packed halves: 🏀 Morning on the Court: We kicked off the day with high-energy outdoor basketball games right by the water, keeping our handles tight and our spirits high. 🎣 Catching with Nets: Next, the kids headed to the shoreline, using nets to scoop up and catch fish! For many, it was their very first time getting hands-on with marine life. 🚣‍♂️ Afternoon Waves: After refueling with a great picnic lunch, we spent the afternoon making waves out on the ocean with some awesome boating adventures.
